For a more colorful look.  1) Try airing on some of the color to look opaque, 2) then add some light airy coverage, 3) let it overlap the edge of another color of light airy coverage, 4) this will create instantly blended multi-colors gradients. As an example, on one side of the stencil design, air-on a light yellow and the other side air-on some red, and where they overlap in the middle there will be a instant rainbow of sunset shades and peach tones.   It's fast, easy, versatile, and there are endless shape and color possibilities!
